Pietro Maximoff, Quicksilver, is a mutant with the power of superhuman speed. Capable of running at velocities exceeding the speed of sound, Pietro can move faster than the eye can follow. The son of Magneto and twin brother of Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver's hot-headed personality often matches his incredible velocity.
